Job Details
Join a dynamic team as a FRFS FedWire Performance Tester, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and resilience of financial services. This position offers the opportunity to work from one of twelve key locations across the United States, with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive performance testing, including requirement gathering, test planning, scripting, execution, and analysis.
- Collaborate with various teams to define success criteria and methodologies for performance testing.
- Design and implement load test scenarios for diverse performance tests such as load, stress, and failover tests.
- Integrate security requirements into testing strategies and validate vulnerabilities through manual testing.
- Monitor and analyze server utilization and system-level statistics during test executions.
- Develop detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging performance testing technologies and adapt them to meet evolving software development demands.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, and Linux command languages.
- Extensive experience with performance testing tools like Apache JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Ability to set up test environments that accurately simulate production conditions.
- Proficiency in analyzing performance test results and generating comprehensive reports.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with server monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Knowledge of advanced programming concepts within the Java technology stack.
- Familiarity with CI integration tools to support continuous integration related to performance testing.
