Job Title: GIS Analyst/Product Owner Job ID: 25-10393 Location: Houston, TX(Hybrid) Duration: 6-month W2 contract
Overview:
Seeking a GIS Product Owner to lead strategy and delivery of GIS web/mobile apps. Collaborate across engineering, analytics, and field teams to build scalable, cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own GIS product roadmap and Agile delivery
- Translate business needs into user stories and KPIs
- Partner with developers using ArcGIS JavaScript API, React, Calcite, and Vite
- Support Esri integrations (ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder)
- Lead stakeholder engagement and user training
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in GIS Product Owner or Analyst roles
- Expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise/Online and JavaScript API (4.x)
- Familiarity with React, Vite, Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred:
- Experience with Calcite, spatial databases, Python scripting
- CI/CD, Docker, cloud deployments (AWS/Azure)
- CSPO or similar Agile certification.
