Description
The HCM Systems Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Corporate Payroll teams by ensuring appropriate system functionality of Oracle Cloud HCM to perform time & labor calculations, periodic payrolls and tax reporting. The HCM Systems Analyst is responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners & collecting requirements for the Business Requirement Document, solutioning & resolving defects, recommending & implementing enhancements, performing unit and user acceptance testing, and creating change control.
The HCM Systems Analyst requires expertise in complex payroll and timekeeping functions, as well as basic knowledge of benefit, compensation, general auditing, payroll tax and accounting functions. This knowledge will be applied to technically support the related payroll, payroll tax, timekeeping and accounting teams and systems. Under minimal direction, makes technical decisions regarding interpretation of data, facts, procedures, policy, tax and DOL laws. Responsibility for ongoing system analysis, Oracle Cloud HCM system updates and enhancements to the in-house payroll, tax filing and timekeeping systems and their related reports and interfaces, in conjunction with HRIT and IT. Leads and/or supports projects such as acquisition integrations, benefits initiatives, system upgrades and year-end.
Responsibilities:
Managing the Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) payroll elements from development to testing to migrating
Understanding current state earnings payroll elements and translating to new time card payroll elements
Reviewing and validating HCM Data Loader (HDL) files for payroll elements and costing
Adding input values, processing rules and balances for payroll elements
Creating test scripts and scenarios for each payroll element in addition to payroll processes impacted by OTL
Conducting user acceptance testing, validating all calculations and costing and documenting test results for each payroll element
Updating and developing migration documents
Collaborating with various team members on Payroll Systems, Technology, and HRIT to ensure payroll elements are set up accurately
Remediating and re-testing defects
Migrating payroll elements in production for go-live
Leveraging Smartsheet and SharePoint to document results, provide status update and track tasks
Qualifications:
Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience required
Work Experience: 2 years of experience in a Human Resources, HR Technology, Payroll or Time & Labor systems role
2 years of professional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud - payroll and time & labor modules
Other: Must have good project management skills
Advanced payroll and system analytical skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
