SAP FICO Consultant EHP8 Upgrade | Contract

Location: Tulsa, OK - Onsite

Project Type: SAP ECC to EHP8 Upgrade Project
Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support an ongoing SAP EHP8 upgrade project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules, deep integration knowledge (FI-MM, FI-SD), and prior upgrade experience to EHP8. Exposure to Agile environments, document splitting, month/year-end processes, and functional support of RICEF developments is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary SAP FICO functional consultant for an SAP EHP8 Upgrade project

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align on functional requirements and translate them into SAP solutions

  • Provide functional support for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)

  • Manage and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and support test planning

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and document splitting processes

  • Work in an Agile delivery environment, participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups

  • Assist with minor configuration changes and production break-fixes

  • Provide guidance on SAP FI modules: New GL, A/R, A/P, Withholding Tax, Interfaces, Cash Journal

  • Work on SAP FICO integrations: FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-PS

  • Support project systems (WBS, budgeting, cost planning, project accounting)

  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team for reporting needs and requirements gathering

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in implementation, upgrade, or support roles

  • Prior experience with SAP EHP8 Upgrade is highly preferred

  • Solid experience in New GL Accounting, AP, AR, Taxation, Bank Accounting, Document Splitting

  • Knowledge of SAP Simple Finance is a plus

  • Strong understanding of FI-CO integration with MM, SD, PS modules

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools

  • Proficient in creating test scripts and executing testing phases

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Nice to Have:

  • SAP Certification in FICO

  • Experience with S/4HANA (even at a functional overview level)

  • Previous experience in large-scale global SAP rollouts or upgrade programs.
