Duties: Create software test strategies and update them in compliance with the scheduled releases as required. Review software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and comprehensive feedback to stakeholders and development teams. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured software test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate software testing activities. Design, develop and execute test automation scripts. Strategize, design, implement, and monitor development operations process and procedures. Identify, record, document, track and triage bugs, and catalog test scenario library. Leverage regression testing to ensure performs as it was designed, and present test results and progress milestones to management team. Pre-emptively plan release windows and cycles across portfolio. Coordinate risks and resolves issues relating to the release, schedule, and quality of the solutions to be implemented.
What you have
Job Requirements: Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 48 months of related progressive, post-bachelor's experience. Experience must include 48 months involving the following: Hands-on experience in testing Data Warehouse, ETL, and Big Data environments and have defined test approaches for testing data warehouse projects;Hand on experience in using ETL tools including Informatica or Teradata; Bigdata technologies including Hadoop and Hive; Hands-on experience in analyzing the errors, logs, and finding root causes while using ETL and Bigdata tools; Cloud Technologies including Google Cloud Platform or AWS; Hands on experience and advanced knowledge in writing Complex SQL queries in Teradata for Data Validation between source and target systems; DevOps Concepts and hands on experience in using CI/CD tools including Jenkins or Bitbucket; Hands on experience on scheduling tools including Control M and experience in Unix shell scripting; and Hands on knowledge in agile and test management tools including Jira, Zephyr, or HP Quality Center.
