Description

Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Service Desk Personnel to support a government-based client and external help desk operations. This role requires a strong focus on resolving system issues, managing change requests, and ensuring efficient ticket processing and communication. As a Long-term Contract position, it offers the opportunity to work both onsite in Cookeville, Tennessee, and potentially remotely after successful training and demonstrated proficiency.

Responsibilities:

Address and resolve all assigned support tickets related to system and help desk inquiries within established timeframes.

Process password resets, user status changes, workflow updates, and other routine system modifications promptly.

Collaborate with application coordinators to gather accurate requirements and provide anticipated timelines for requested changes.

Configure and manage system settings, permissions, and automated workflows as needed.

Maintain detailed logs of system updates, ticket resolutions, and communication within ServiceNow.

Provide consistent weekly status updates to requestors and application managers regarding ongoing configuration requests.

Assist users with system-related inquiries, offering thorough and timely customer service.

Document all system changes and maintain organized records within SharePoint.

Work with cross-functional teams, including trainers and QA personnel, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in system modifications.

Follow best practices for troubleshooting and IT support workflows to enhance user experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT help desk support or a related role.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with users.
Knowledge of licensing and regulatory systems, preferably within healthcare or government sectors.
Experience in system configuration and administration, including managing permissions and workflows.
Proficiency in documentation and reporting using tools like SharePoint.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage change processes efficiently.
Solid troubleshooting skills and understanding of IT support best practices.
