Job Title: Technical Design Engineer - DevSecOps & Agile Integration Solutions Engineer
Top Skills Required
  • Experience with DevSecOps methodologies, SaaS solutions, OpenShift, and API Management Platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft)
  • Proven ability to create technical designs for multiple integrating applications based on collaborative discussions
  • SAFe, Agile Release Trains, and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to provide blank templates or examples of technical design documentation

Job Description
Technical Design Creation
  • Develop and document technical designs that illustrate how multiple applications integrate to deliver business functionality.
  • Translate business processes and requirements into system-level designs and integration flows.
  • Ensure designs align with both current-state and future-state architecture and product roadmaps.

Design Maintenance & Updates
  • Maintain and update technical design documentation throughout 2025 to reflect changes from PI3, PI4, and 2026 planning.
  • Ensure traceability and version control of all design artifacts.

Gap Identification & Analysis
  • Ask targeted questions during design sessions to uncover missing requirements, integration gaps, or misalignments.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to resolve identified issues.

Agile Collaboration
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI planning, sprint reviews, and backlog refinement.
  • Work within a SAFe Agile Release Train to ensure technical designs support incremental delivery and system integration goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience leading or supporting discovery sessions, journey mapping workshops, and persona-building exercises
  • Ability to advocate for user-centered design in technical discussions

Work Environment
  • Operates within a structured Agile Release Train (ART) with regular planning and delivery cycles
  • Highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment focused on continuous improvement
  • May involve hybrid or on-site work depending on project requirements and security protocols

Business Context
  • This role supports a product focused on streamlining sustainment operations for enterprise customers.
  • The position is open due to increased bandwidth needs within the current team.

Role cannot support C2C at this time.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $80.00/hr.
