Job Title: Marketing Copywriter
Location: Fully Remote (East Coast preferred)
Shift: 8:00 AM   5:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Medium possibility of extension; no conversion to full-time)
About the Role
Our in-house creative agency at the Client is seeking a skilled and collaborative Marketing Copywriter to join our award-winning creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with 8 10 years of experience to create compelling, brand-aligned content across diverse marketing channels.
You ll be responsible for crafting impactful copy for digital experiences, email campaigns, direct mail, video scripts, and other lead-generation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong creative mindset, exceptional storytelling skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers and internal stakeholders.
A portfolio presentation is required as part of the interview process be prepared to discuss concept development, content strategy, and execution of your showcased work.
Key Responsibilities
- Brainstorm independently and collaboratively to develop conceptual ideas and marketing content for internal clients.
- Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy across multiple formats (digital, print, video, social, and more).
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure cohesive and impactful integration of copy and visuals.
- Adapt writing style to suit different audiences, tones, and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
- Translate complex or technical language into accessible and engaging content for broader audiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Participate in creative reviews and embrace constructive feedback to enhance final deliverables.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging content standards in both print and digital media.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in communications, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and internal stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, and relevant industry-standard tools.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and conceptual development skills.
- Understanding of web usability, SEO best practices, and content optimization techniques.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
