Job Description:
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to support the development and execution of a Security Risk Management (SRM) program. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments but also brings a mindset of continuous improvement. You'll work closely with a Program Manager to help mature a framework that identifies, tracks, and communicates security risks to enable informed decision-making.
You'll be responsible for assessing contract risk levels, managing key aspects of a trust review process, and coordinating across stakeholders in legal, vendor management, and security to ensure requirements are met. In addition to executing established workflows, you'll have opportunities to recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

You'll be responsible for assessing contract risk levels, managing key aspects of a trust review process, and coordinating across stakeholders in legal, vendor management, and security to ensure requirements are met. In addition to executing established workflows, you'll have opportunities to recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager in executing and refining SRM workflows, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Conduct contract risk tier assessments using established tools and criteria
- Manage intake, triage, and validation of vendor trust reviews to ensure readiness for evaluation
- Track and document implementation of security and privacy requirements in collaboration with internal teams
- Respond to requests from business, contracts, third-party security, and vendor management stakeholders in a timely manner
- Monitor program performance, proactively solve problems, and escalate issues when needed
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including procedures, templates, training materials, and technical guides
- Contribute to special projects as assigned
- Familiarity with common technology concepts and data flows (e.g., APIs, integrations)
- Experience in security/privacy program management or third-party risk management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Proven ability to follow structured processes while adapting to changing priorities
- Experience managing projects or coordinating operational workflows independently
- High level of personal accountability and dependability
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Prior experience working in a Google Workspace environment (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in security/privacy program management or third-party risk management
- Ability to execute work quickly while maintaining high attention to detail
- Comfortable following structured processes and flagging potential improvements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience with Google Workspace tools
- Experience with Airtable, Jira, or similar platforms
- Ability to create process flows using standard tools and methodologies
- Based in or near the San Francisco Bay Area (preferred but not required)
