Job Description
This role supports system operations for a large healthcare technology environment and contributes to the implementation of federally mandated updates within a Medicaid-related system. The Computer Operator will perform monthly billing data extractions, maintain operational dashboards, assist with asset tracking tasks, and support Tier 1 ticketing operations. The position also focuses on process documentation and collaboration with technical writers and system administrators to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities
Perform monthly billing data extraction from tools such as SolarWinds and Excel, transpose data, and prepare it for billing review.
Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency.
Maintain and update an Executive/Operational Dashboard, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Support asset management responsibilities as assigned.
Document operational processes and collaborate with a technical writer to validate procedural accuracy.
Serve as a Tier 1 support resource for the BMC FootPrints ticketing system.
Collaborate with the ticketing system administrator to update forms, modify workspaces, and contribute to FAQs.
Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats while working closely with internal technical teams and contractor staff.
