Roles and responsibilities potentially include:
Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to document and update legacy hardware and software systems
Perform electrical and mechanical (signal, power & thermal) analysis at the rack level
Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents
Perform generation of engineering drawings
Develop modeling and simulation using MATLAB and STK
Areas of Technical Interest:
Systems principal architecture knowledge
Mechanical/Electrical engineering
System integration, test, and development
Knowledge of networking tcp/ip, firewalls
Cloud computing understanding (AWS, Azure, etc)
Qualifications
Pursuit of BS or MS in a STEM related degree field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
**Must be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance NOTE: Federal law requires ship to obtain a clearance
Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
