Location: Delaware Onsite

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion/EPM Architect with a strong financial domain background. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) as well as legacy Hyperion Planning solutions, combined with solid finance process knowledge and a technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and define business requirements; prepare functional specifications and convert them into detailed technical documentation.

  • Design, implement, and support Hyperion Planning and Essbase solutions, including cube builds using PBCS and metadata/data load management.

  • Manage Lifecycle Management (LCM), HFR reports, web forms, business rules, and calculation scripts.

  • Automate daily tasks using EPM Automator, Data Management, and scheduling tools (Unix/Windows cron jobs).

  • Integrate DRM hierarchies with Hyperion applications.

  • Provide architectural guidance for BSO/ASO cubes, outline load utilities, and performance optimization.

  • Develop and maintain MDX and MAXL scripts; create and optimize PL/SQL and SQL queries.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of overall finance process experience, with at least 4+ years focused on PBCS/EPBCS/Hyperion Planning.

  • Strong functional finance knowledge, with proven ability to bridge business and technology.

  • Hands-on expertise in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle EPM Cloud implementations.

  • Solid technical skills in automation, scripting (MDX, MAXL), and database technologies (PL/SQL, SQL).

  • Experience preparing RFI/RFP requirement statements and leading solution design.
