Key Qualifications

3+ years of experience in either manufacturing or the development of consumer electronicsQuality methodology, Design of Experiments, statistical process control methods and theoryReliability methods and quality statistical samplingData driven and results oriented approach to problem solvingClear and consistent communication, including executive level presentation skillsTechnical systems knowledge related to electronics and mechanical assembly

Description

We are responsible for driving quality improvement actions on future products and manufacturing processes and developing plans to validate / verify new product quality at each development milestone. -Identify and drive quality improvement opportunities in future products and manufacturing processes Generate Product Quality Plan (PQP) -Lead Process FMEAs on new technologies and manufacturing processes -Lead technical Failure Analysis to support root cause analysis and issue resolution (FAE experience and background troubleshooting a variety of issues preferred) -Monitor Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) and Customer Audit (CA) processes at OEM sites - Manage quality escalation issues as directed by the Product Quality Manager - Drive on-going product improvements with OEM partners -Support AppleCare Service & Engineering on specific investigations - Conduct periodic reviews of Field/Factory Quality Data with OEM partners -Prepare OK to Ship documentation impacting future product launch -Attend new product development builds as required -International Travel is required (up to 25%)

Education & Experience

BS or MS degree in Engineering, MBA a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,900.00 and $181,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
