We are currently seeking a Product Owner to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

Job Description
The Kanban Product Owner (PO) role is responsible for identifying, refining, and prioritizing user stories for the Consumer Identity Access Management (CIAM) Kanban team. The PO represents the voice of the customer to the team and should articulate WHAT is to be delivered but leave it to the team to determine the HOW. In coordination with the team s Tech Leads, Architects, and management, the PO drives value to the business by relentlessly readying product backlog from myriad sources and ensuring the top priority work items are the next up for the CIAM Kanban team deliver. This product backlog includes, but is not limited to, intake requests, incidents, technical debt, and required maintenance work. The Product Owner is expected to be knowledgeable on the CIAM product and underlying platforms that the delivery teams are supporting. They should have a solid understanding of Identity and Access Management and consumer IAM work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards.

Responsibilities include

  • Partner with the CIAM leadership to ready requests from numerous sources into a prioritized, deliverable backlog for the team.
  • Communicate the priorities and execution status effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Incorporate stakeholder input into backlog while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and customer.
  • Collaborate with the CIAM Product Manager, stakeholders, CIAM team and dependent teams to align on priorities, set commitments and prioritize the backlog.
  • Work day-to-day with the CIAM team to provide CIAM subject matter expertise and clarify work item requirements.
  • Drive quality and innovation into the team's work product.
  • Define key metrics for relevant reporting on status.
  • Own messaging of status and health of the CIAM team s delivery ensuring that the work meets the customers needs.
  • Facilitate activities and sessions such as Backlog Refinement.
  • Follow established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical experience
  • 3+ years of Product Owner and/or equivalent technical experience with managing consumer-based identity and access control platforms; specifically ForgeRock
  • 3+ years working in an operational team that has production support responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience translating business needs to technical requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, influence, negotiate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders with often conflicting priorities and requirements
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and uses independent judgment to analyze variable factors and determine the best course of action
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in technical design and practical implementation of IT solutions
  • Certified Product Owner certification
  • Experience working with a Kanban team
  • Working knowledge of cyber security concepts, cloud and tools including Identity Access Management (IAM)
  • Experience with ForgeRock or similar CIAM tools
  • Significant experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or other work management tools
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($48 -$48/hourly ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
