As a Cobol Mainframe Developer at CVS Health, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and deployment of critical integrated system releases. The Mainframe Developer is essential for ensuring the delivery of business value and that production applications remain stable with excellent performance and optimal scalability. The Mainframe Developer will work in an Agile scrum team environment, in close collaboration with business partners, product owners, architecture and other IT partners.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with the following:
- Mainframe development and support, utilizing several of the following technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, or MQ.
- Systems analysis: code validation, code review, and code changes.
- Software design principles and software architecture (SDLC)
- Agile delivery methodologies
- 7+ years of capabilities and experience in the following areas:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities.
- Ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing business impact and urgency.
- Ability to work in a team environment to deliver projects.
- Being a self-starter, who takes initiative with challenging situations.
- Must be able to support East Coast hours.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or relevant work experience.
