responsibilities:



  • Lead and coordinate both internal and external Security Team members to enhance the Security Program and continuously enhance our security standards, using the Center for Internet Security controls as a reference point.



  • Prepare and deliver quarterly updates on the Security Program to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and collaborate on executive briefings for the Board of Directors.



  • Supervise internal and external Security Team members in managing security platforms, ensuring timely resolution of service desk tickets, and responding to security alerts.



  • Collaborate across departments to furnish necessary documentation and implement requested enhancements, ensuring successful completion of annual Cybersecurity insurance renewal.



  • Oversee quarterly audits of critical systems and processes throughout the organization to maintain security standards.



  • Engage in various projects, technology acquisitions, and weekly Change Control Board meetings to ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols.



  • Conduct cybersecurity training for all staff and contingent workers to meet regulatory and customer demands.



  • Work with senior leadership and Legal to develop and update security policies regularly.



  • Conduct preliminary security and privacy reviews of customer contracts as necessary, and act as a backup to the CTO in negotiating related concerns.



  • Manage a backlog of security improvements across multiple applications.



  • Foster business partner satisfaction by providing regular updates, identifying service improvement opportunities, and developing action plans to address improvement areas.



  • Offer Tier 1 support for security applications as required, including system administration tasks.

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors


skills:
  • Active Directory (4 years of experience is preferred)
  • Linux (4 years of experience is required)
  • AWS Cloud Hosting (4 years of experience is required)
