We have an opening for a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management (IAM).

The Senior Manager will join the IAM team and lead the engineering and operations functions in support of the firm s Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) program strategy. This role is central to ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant identity services while driving collaboration with IT, Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders. The Senior Manager will focus on guiding delivery, coaching team members, and helping remove blockers, while ensuring all initiatives align with the broader IAM program direction set by leadership.

In this capacity, the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management (IAM) will:

  • Lead IAM/IGA engineering and operations teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management;
  • Partner with the Director of IAM/IGA to define strategic roadmaps, align initiatives with business priorities, and deliver measurable results;
  • Oversee implementation, integration, and optimization of IAM platforms, including identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization, and privileged access;
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring reliable day-to-day identity services, incident response, and continuous improvement;
  • Manage vendor relationships and influence product roadmaps to align with firm needs;
  • Promote Agile practices within the team: support backlog grooming, story sizing, and sprint planning in partnership with PMO/scrum masters;
  • Ensure IAM solutions support security, compliance, and regulatory requirements; and
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business units, and Security to design identity architectures and workflows that balance security with user experience.

Technology Stack (Current & Future):

  • Current: Okta (IAM), SailPoint (IGA);
  • Planned/Future: Privileged Access Management (e.g., CyberArk); and
  • Supporting Technologies: Active Directory/LDAP, authentication standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), MFA, APIs/integrations.

Proficiencies:

  • Inspirational leader who develops and grows teams;
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in complex, fast-paced environments;
  • Proven track record of implementing IAM/IGA solutions and driving operational maturity; and
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISSP, CISM, Okta/SailPoint certifications) preferred;
  • 10+ years in Identity & Access Management or related cybersecurity roles;
  • Proven leadership experience managing both engineering and operations teams;
  • Strong understanding of IAM/IGA concepts: authentication protocols, federation, RBAC, lifecycle management, and PAM;
  • Experience delivering large-scale identity initiatives in an Agile environment; and
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
