Job Title:- Application Support Manager
LOcation:- Onsite Bridgewater 4 days a week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Application Support Manager to lead the support and maintenance of enterprise applications, with a strong focus on SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) and other general business systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL and a proven ability to manage cross-functional support initiatives. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application support function across core business applications, including SAP BO and other enterprise tools.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex application issues, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement preventative measures for recurring incidents.
- Oversee and optimize SQL queries and database interactions to ensure application performance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide solutions, and improve application usage and functionality.
- Maintain application documentation, knowledge bases, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage a small team or collaborate with offshore/onshore resources, as applicable.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and data governance standards, especially within a life sciences environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application support, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Expertise in SQL ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects administration, report creation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with validation and compliance processes (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ITIL practices and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Project management experience and the ability to lead initiatives across multiple departments.
- Exposure to cloud-based application environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
