About the Team

The Inside Channel Led System Engineer will join a dynamic team focused on supporting Nutanix's channel sales mission. The team is composed primarily of IC2s, with a few IC3s, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes professional growth and technical excellence. Geographically, the team operates in various locations across the United States and Brazil, allowing for diverse perspectives and a global approach to sales strategies. The culture is built on self-motivation, organization, and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on enabling team members to learn and share knowledge about technology.

You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineering - Channel Sales, who fosters a hands-on, approachable leadership style that encourages team members to take initiative and explore new ideas. The team operates primarily in a hybrid work setup; while members located in North Carolina are required to be in the office two to three days a week, those outside of this region can work remotely without a specific area requirement.

The travel requirements for this role are minimal, with expectations for team members to travel approximately two to four times a year. This travel is primarily for significant events such as the Sales Kickoff (SKO) and other essential gatherings, with most interactions with partners typically conducted via Zoom, making on-site visits a rare occurrence.

Your Role
  • Interact with account executives to build and optimize sales pipeline plans.
  • Provide support to partners by reviewing deals and conducting system configurations, presentations, and demos.
  • Achieve team sales quotas while contributing to overall team success through collaboration.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with partners to foster relationships and facilitate their growth.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant Nutanix certifications to deepen technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Participate in enablement webinars to train partners and sharpen presentation skills.
  • Track daily activities and set objectives and key results (OKRs) for effective performance management.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and promote a supportive learning environment.

What You Will Bring
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Technical background with a strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Sales experience preferred, with familiarity in the sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to perform presentations.
  • Organizational skills and self-motivation to manage tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of Nutanix products and relevant technology stack.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Outgoing personality with an ability to enable and teach others.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 116,800 and USD $ 175,200 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
