We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Imaging System Engineer with deep expertise in imaging pipelines, color science, and real-time rendering. This role emphasizes rapid prototyping of new imaging architectures and developing perceptually accurate rendering techniques for immersive MR/AR experiences. You will work on camera capture systems, display pipelines, and perceptual modeling to help shape next-generation MR/AR technologies.
Responsibilities
Develop perceptual features that enhance MR/AR realism by modeling human vision and color perception.
Build platforms for objective and subjective evaluation of virtual object rendering using psychophysical methods.
Design and implement real-time display color processing pipelines leveraging GPU, CPU/MCU, or hardware-accelerated resources.
Prototype MR/AR demos using Python, MATLAB, Blender, Unity, and C#.
Research and develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms for ambient light estimation and photorealistic object rendering.

Team is a large and dynamic group of visual quality experts, primarily focused on camera technology, with a secondary emphasis on display quality. There is a team of 4-5 engineers who are dedicated to developing innovative perceptual features that enhance the overall visual experience. This work involves:
Adjusting display colors to optimize visual fidelity
Developing and refining visual features to create a more immersive experience
Collaborating to push the boundaries of what's possible in visual quality
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Research and Develop Computer Vision and Machine Learning Algorithms: Research and develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms for ambient light estimation and photorealistic object rendering.
Build Platforms for Objective and Subjective Evaluation: Build platforms for objective and subjective evaluation of virtual object rendering using psychophysical methods.
