Position Overview:
Join WM-Synergy s Business Intelligence team as an ERP Data Scientist, where you will play a pivotal role in implementing and supporting ERP applications. Collaborate with our customers business and IT organizations to achieve excellence in the following areas:
Data Design & Architecture: Develop data-driven solutions that align with ERP technology stacks, organizational goals, and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data science and business intelligence solutions within the ERP ecosystem.
Advanced Analytics: Leverage data science techniques to uncover insights, forecast trends, and optimize ERP processes.
Technology Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and recommend technology options for scalable and innovative ERP application solutions.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Data Integration: Implement and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) information from ERP systems for analysis.
Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models, perform impact analysis, and design scalable workflows.
Predictive Modeling: Apply machine learning and predictive analytics to enhance ERP decision-making processes.
Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Data Quality Advocacy: Promote data quality, governance, and reliability standards across ERP systems.
Innovation: Lead brainstorming sessions to define project requirements, ideate innovative solutions, and refine data-driven ERP processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of ERP data science solutions with business needs.
Skills & Competencies:
Data Science Expertise: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience implementing and supporting ERP applications (Visual ERP experience is a plus but not required).
Machine Learning & AI: Familiarity with machine learning models and AI techniques applicable to ERP data sets.
Database Management: Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and data warehousing principles.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver results.
Team Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Project Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, or similar project methodologies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master s degree is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a data science or ERP-focused role, with a proven track record of successful ERP implementations and data analysis projects.
ERP Systems: Deep understanding of ERP systems, their data structures, and operational workflows.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Business Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work closely with business partners to understand needs and deliver tailored data solutions.
Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of data-centric ERP projects.
