Description
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is remote and offers a great opportunity to contribute to renewable energy projects. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies to support project configurations, testing, and system integrations.
Responsibilities:
Configure hardware components, conduct system testing, and ensure adherence to quality standards while documenting integration processes.
Develop detailed diagrams for SCADA cabinet hardware based on specific project requirements.
Design and update fiber optic wiring diagrams using AutoCAD, assisting with planning and installation efforts.
Provide technical support during the commissioning phase of SCADA systems to ensure successful deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industrial communication protocols and ensure their correct application in projects.
Utilize Linux and networking expertise to support system configurations and resolve connectivity challenges.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout all phases of project execution.

Requirements
- At least3 years of experienceproviding technical support for renewable energy projects, includingsolar PV,wind, andbattery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Skilled inAutoCADfor designingsingle-line diagrams.
- Strong grasp ofindustrial communication protocols, particularly those used inSCADA systems.
- Proficient withLinux operating systemsand corenetworking principles.
- Demonstratedproblem-solving abilitiesand a collaborative working style.
- Hands-on experience withcommercial, industrial, or utility-scalerenewable energy installations.
- Solid knowledge ofSCADA systemsand their role in energy infrastructure.
