Data Architect 3

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect 3 in Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:
We are seeking a Data Architect with deep expertise in AWS, Python, and Conversational Analytics. The role focuses on building secure, scalable, and resilient systems that enable natural language interaction with data. You'll develop knowledgebases and agents to support business users in accessing insights, while maintaining robust cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
* Data Architect 3 will design, build, and optimize data pipelines using AWS
* Apply security best practices across data and AI workflows
* Develop and maintain knowledgebases and conversational agents
* Integrate structured and unstructured data sources
* Implement ML workflows in SageMaker for training, deployment, and monitoring
* Use AWS Bedrock to build and deploy conversational AI solutions
* Ensure data lineage and quality across conversational systems
* Automate orchestration, monitoring, and logging for pipelines and agents
* As a Data Architect 3, you will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and reliable deployments
* Collaborate with analytics, product, and business teams to improve decision-making and data accessibility

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift Serverless, SageMaker, Bedrock)
* Experience building knowledgebases and conversational agents
* Solid understanding of ETL design and optimization in cloud platforms
* Strong Python skills for data engineering, automation, and API integration
* Strong SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data environments

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in integrating LLMs into business workflows
* Experience with DevOps/Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Background in marketing analytics or customer intelligence
* Familiarity with Lakehouse frameworks (Iceberg, Delta)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
