Title: Manager, Media Strategy

Location: US Remote Contract to hire

Start Date: ASAP

Hours/Week: 25 hours per week

Job Description:

The Manager, Integrated Media Planning has experience developing and planning digital media programs that drive engagement, measurement, and performance. This role is ideal for a cross-channel planner who thrives on shaping strategy while also translating ideas into actionable plans. The right candidate will bring a passion for helping brands navigate the evolving digital landscape, using data, creativity, and collaboration to connect business goals with measurable outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, grow, and develop media programs across a select group of clients
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure timely campaign launches, continuous management, and optimization
  • Collaborate with clients to identify overarching marketing and business goals, recommending additional capabilities as appropriate
  • Champion innovative ideas and approaches to improve customer experiences and conversion rates
  • Set digital media strategies for growth clients, guiding them through periodic campaign and business reviews
  • Define audience strategies and partner with analytics to develop segmentation and targeting approaches
  • Develop cross-channel budget allocations and forecasts that align with client objectives and performance goals
  • Monitor campaign performance and partner with Media Activation to ensure client expectations are met
  • Oversee client media calendars, ensuring media activities align with business priorities and marketing goals
  • Provide proactive market and industry research to educate clients and evolve programming maturity
  • Promote adoption of new techniques and technologies relevant to clients marketing strategies
  • Drive best-practice adoption through leading by example, proactive communication, and strong stakeholder relationships
  • Partner with Client Services to deliver thought leadership on media strategies, tactics, insights, performance, and emerging opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media planning, strategy, or related roles
  • Digital agency background preferred
  • Experience collaborating with adjacent channels (SEO, CRO, CRM, creative, etc.) a plus
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape and best practices across the full marketing funnel
  • Hands-on experience with campaign management and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DV360, GA4)
  • Experience managing budgets, pacing, and forecasting across multiple channels
  • Excellent communication skills and direct client-facing experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
