Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee program/project portfolio for multiple business centers, working closely with the Program Manager and stakeholders to align business objectives, strategies, and delivery requirements.
Develop project plans, specifications, and other related project administration tasks.
Manage a backlog of work.
Gather and document technical, functional, and business requirements.
Track project status for all legacy application projects for Parametric, identifying potential delays and risks and communicating project status on a timely and regular basis.
Participate and lead complex project planning sessions; comfortable applying both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Manage and monitor project issues, risks, budget, and escalations.
Work with the project teams to improve processes and remove roadblocks.
Qualifications:
5+years of experience building and leading agile teams to deliver effective enterprise solutions preferably in financial services organization.
Experience with leading, managing and participating in cross-functional IT, Infrastructure, Cloud projects.
Deep understanding of IT infrastructure domains: cloud, networking, storage, virtualization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Effective communication and leadership skills that produce effective and collaborative cross-functional teams.
Highly tuned process analysis and problem-solving skills.
Experience in small, mid, and large-scale project management, including the management of project teams.
Ability to deliver under stress in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
In-depth experience with Jira and Confluence; knowledge and workflow management.
Desired Skills:
PMP, CSM certifications strongly preferred
Leadership experience as a Project Manager or roles in similar capacity
Strong experience managing AWS or Azure projects
