Job Details
Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Consultant
Experience: 6 years
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Job Description:
- Provide technical drawings for audio-visual room designs (CAD/blueprints)
- Recommend AV equipment specifications for each room
- Ensure control systems are Crestron (or similar) and switching is Extron (or similar) for standardization
- Develop contract scope for future equipment procurement & installation
- Offer consultation throughout design, installation and project completion
- Coordinate with OGS (power/HVAC) and NYS ITS (networking constraints)
- Support agencies with communications and resolve technical queries as required
Key Qualifications Required:
- Experience in AV room design and project oversight for IT/AV systems
- Knowledge of Crestron/Extron or equivalent enterprise-grade AV control systems
- Strong experience with technical drawings and infrastructure requirements
- Ability to work with state agencies and handle multi-site design coordination
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
