Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer to become a member of the System of Systems Engineering and Integration Team.
As a Requirements and Verification Systems Engineer, you will:
1) Create and maintain flight test requirements for development flights under the direction of the SEIT and the associated flight test project coordinator
2) Coordinate verification methodology with the various disciplines including flight sciences and ground test
3) Complete verification documentation in support of flight tests

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
Experience or Knowledge of one or more Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions, including:
- Mission-level requirements analysis and definition of top-level interfaces among major system components
- Integration, Test and/or Verification of requirements across major interfaces

Knowledge of DOORS
Knowledge of CAMEO
MBSE Experience

Desired skills

Experience with mission-level/ enterprise architecture analysis, development, integration, V&V, with broad based and in-depth knowledge of multiple functional complex systems and their interactions to meet mission needs
Missile, space, or ground segment design and/or V&V experience with one or more systems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of sophisticated system products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
Ability to interact with system/ segment developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200 - $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
