Description of responsibilities:

Qualifications:
o Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent significant experience in information technology and software testing is required.
o Minimum of 7 years of experience designing and developing tests for ETL and Data Warehouse solutions using a software development approach. Minimum of 7 years of automation development experience with technologies described below.
o Required technical skills: Familiar with Source control like Git Experience building continuous test jobs that execute on a schedule or based on events Hands on experience in API testing like, Karate, Postman Hands on experience in Python and R with a modern IDE like AWS Glue, Databricks, Jupyter notebook, Informatica Power Center Ability to create complex SQL / database queries for creating test data and validating data integrity automated testing of databases and ETL processes built using technologies and frameworks available as Cloud solutions Experience in variety of large Database systems like AWS Redshirt, PostgresSQL, Oracle Exadata Develops solutions to automate testing of databases and ETL processes built using technologies and frameworks such as SSIS, Oracle Integration products, Data Warehouse products and other industry tools approved for use at FRS as applicable.

Responsibilities:
o DATABASE/DATA VALIDATION TESTING TRACK Develop comprehensive data verification and validation for backend data-oriented systems using modern frameworks such as Pandas, Informatica and other industry tools approved for use at FRS as applicable. Using scripting/programming languages like Python and R with a modern IDE (Anaconda, Jupyter notebook, or similar), and source code management products like GIT and Subversion.
o Knowledge and Skills: Advanced written and oral communications skills. Independently, presents both orally and in writing, findings and assessments; prepares and presents information and responses to highly complex inquiries; demonstrates the ability to manage the communication process; the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely; actively engages in transferring technical knowledge Diffuses conflict and builds consensus. Subject to minimal to no oversight in work performed. Serves as mentor and/or coach and provides constructive feedback to less experienced staff; engages other stakeholders in collecting feedback and input to complete work activities. Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases and test scripts. Perform functional, integration, system, regression and/or performance test. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using approved tools. Evaluate software performance and current test methodologies, recommend process improvements. Manage defects and collaborate with development staff to resolve issues. Plan and estimate testing efforts in collaboration with project team. Coach/mentor/share expertise with FRS personnel.
o Work location and hours: The Bank's typical business hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time; with flexibility for 8 hour workdays based on regional time zone of assignment(s). Exact hours will be determined by the department manager. If the individual is within commuting distance to the Bank, you would be expected to work a hybrid schedule based on the Bank's policy, currently two days per week onsite and three days from home.
