RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Solutions Lead in Fremont, CA.
Responsibilities:
* Lead in-depth technical discussion with carrier customers regarding h/w and s/w (embedded and application) technologies and its implementation including (but not limited to) 4G/5G modem and protocols, RF, memory, antenna, Ethernet, WIFI, etc.; The end products include 5G FWA, WI-FI router, small cells, etc.
* Guide Technical Solution team members to provide the best services cross-functionally and to clients and continuously enhance their technical and communication skills
* Work with internal R&D team and external chipset vendors to debug technical issue(s), propose and validate solution(s) or fix(es), follow up accordingly until issues are completely resolved and accepted by customers
* Work with other internal teams to build strong partnership with chipset vendors and act as a technical interface
* Devise roadmap and communicate with customers accordingly with regards to the implementation of new s/w patches or releases from chipset vendors
* Work with customers and engineering teams to create recipes for software upgrade
* Assist the Account Manager to ensure projects are completed on time with quality, as needed
* Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes and tools to enhance development capabilities
* Develop and document technical processes and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (post graduate degree is preferred) with 10 years of related working experience
* Working experience with chipset vendor/device vendor/carrier/other technology company is preferred
* Solid understanding of FWA devices including H/W and S/W technologies and implementation associated with modem, RF, memory, antenna, Ethernet, etc.
* Excellent communication and customer interface skills
* Can-do attitude
* Chinese speaking
* Location: preferably in New Jersey or Eastern time zone
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
