Position: RF Engineer II

Location: Lewis Center, OH

Onsite Requirement: Hybrid

8 Month initial contract, potential to extend up to 30 months

Description:

3x onsite (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

2x remote

Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and planning the Radio Frequency Network for Verizon LTE and 5G which includes RF analysis, search area issuance, candidate assessment, and approvals.
  • Redesigning mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR while working with other areas of the network to ensure performance fixes/initiatives are in place.
  • Using internal tools (FUZE, ATOLL) to process regulatory compliance.
  • Performing Macro/Small Cell Design/In Building design including antenna selection and placement, utilizing knowledge of 5G, LTE, and microwave to contribute in network design are key responsibilities.
  • Working on new cell sites, making sure the site is properly integrated into the network and optimized for peak performance.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience working on RF projects.
  • Atoll Experience
  • Fuze Experience (RF Design, CIQ, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance on multiple projects requiring best network design decisions.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Solid knowledge of RF, antenna, and frequency license theory as well as LTE/VoLTE/5G/VoNR Technology.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

RF certifications and/or degrees are a plus
