Job Description:
Request you all to share strong iOS Developer(Senior/Lead) profiles with 10+ years experience since We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Developer of progressive experience to join our dynamic and innovative mobile development team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader, capable of architecting robust solutions, driving best practices, and mentoring junior team members while contributing significantly to the development of cutting-edge iOS applications.
Requirement : iOS Developer(Senior/Lead) profiles with 10+ years experience.
Location : Candidate should be based out in US-Chicago, 3 days working office.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Architecture:
- Serve as a technical anchor, leading the design, development, and maintenance of complex iOS applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Define and drive the technical direction for future-state iOS applications, balancing innovation with resiliency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Deeply understand architectural patterns of existing and new codebases (Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI) to guide proper future-state approaches.
- Lead design reviews and contribute to the overall technical strategy for secure publishing and delivery of apps.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and ensure stability across various devices and platforms.
- Development & Implementation:
- Develop and enhance iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C, leveraging the latest iOS SDKs and frameworks (e.g., UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Combine, etc.).
- Translate complex business requirements and UI/UX designs into functional, visually appealing, and intuitive mobile applications.
- Implement robust and scalable solutions, adhering to coding standards and best practices (e.g., Clean Architecture, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).
- Integrate third-party libraries, APIs (RESTful/GraphQL), and backend services seamlessly.
- Write and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure code reliability and functionality.
- Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
- Actively participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level iOS developers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and CI/CD pipelines.
- Innovation & Best Practices:
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to maximize development efficiency and keep the team at the forefront of iOS development.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, mobile landscape, architectures, and emerging technologies.
- Promote and enforce secure coding practices, understanding concepts like App Transport Security (ATS), keychain access, biometric integration, and runtime permission flows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in iOS application development.
- Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
- Extensive hands-on experience with core iOS frameworks (UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location, Foundation, Combine, etc.).
- Proven experience in designing and architecting complex iOS applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Strong understanding of mobile architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, etc.) and their practical application.
- Proficiency with Xcode, Instruments, and other iOS development tools.
- Expertise in unit testing frameworks (XCTest) and UI testing.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), and concurrency management.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and Gitflow workflows.
- Proven experience integrating with RESTful APIs and other web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Fastlane).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding development teams.
- Experience publishing multiple iOS applications to the Apple App Store, including managing app updates, versioning, and release processes.
