Job Details

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support HR systems initiatives with a focus on Workday, US Payroll, and Benefits Integration. In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders to capture business needs, define functional and non-functional requirements, and drive solution design that aligns with organizational goals. You'll act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technology concepts into clear business outcomes while ensuring compliance, usability, and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities
Capture and document business problems, value drivers, and requirements, considering health, safety, security, usability, and data needs.
Translate business requirements into system functionality, evaluating feasibility, risks, and business impact.
Assess and model processes, data flows, and system capabilities; identify areas for improvement.
Develop clear, traceable documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and software vendors to ensure business needs are met.
Configure and document software and processes using established tools and standards.
Define acceptance criteria and coordinate testing to validate solutions.
Build and present business cases to support solution prioritization and funding decisions.
Lead stakeholder engagement sessions, balancing competing priorities and building consensus.
Stay current on HR technology, architecture, and vendor solutions; bring innovative approaches to problem-solving.

Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience with at least 8 years as a Business Analyst.
Proven expertise in HR processes and US Payroll.
Strong knowledge of Workday and Benefits Integration.
Experience with Agile and hybrid project delivery methods.
Strong skills in data/process analysis, systems engineering concepts, and data visualization.
Demonstrated ability to align business requirements with system capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.

Preferred: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification.
