Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer

Location: Gastonia (Charlotte Region), NC
Duration: 6 Months
Work Mode: Onsite

Job Description

We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of advanced power and control electronics. The role involves hands-on hardware design, schematic development, and laboratory testing in compliance with aerospace and military standards. This is a fully onsite role.

 

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience designing Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) and Printed Wiring Assemblies (PWA) using Altium
  • Hands-on experience with power electronics hardware design and validation.

    • MIL-STD-704
    • MIL-STD-810
    • DO-160
  • Experience ensuring compliance with major airframe supplier requirements

Certification & Safety (Preferred / Bonus)

  • Experience designing per RTCA DO-254 (hardware)
  • Familiarity with DO-178 (software) concepts
  • Exposure to SAE ARP4754 and ARP4761 is a plus
