Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer
Location: Gastonia (Charlotte Region), NC
Duration: 6 Months
Work Mode: Onsite
Job Description
We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of advanced power and control electronics. The role involves hands-on hardware design, schematic development, and laboratory testing in compliance with aerospace and military standards. This is a fully onsite role.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience designing Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) and Printed Wiring Assemblies (PWA) using Altium
- Hands-on experience with power electronics hardware design and validation.

- Ability to verify intended operation and performance of prototypes and production hardware in a lab environment

- Experience ensuring compliance with major airframe supplier requirements
Certification & Safety (Preferred / Bonus)
- Experience designing per RTCA DO-254 (hardware)
- Familiarity with DO-178 (software) concepts
- Exposure to SAE ARP4754 and ARP4761 is a plus
