Description

We are on the search for a proficient A/V Technician to be a part of our team. The role is based in BRANFORD, Connecticut, United States and is in the industry of audio-visual technology. As an A/V Technician, you will be tasked with handling various audio-visual equipment such as microphones and projectors, providing technical support during events, and ensuring optimal sound quality for conferences. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Manage the setup and operation of podium microphones and projectors
Handle the configuration of multiple computers for projection purposes
Oversee the setup of wireless microphones across event tables
Operate the audio mixer to ensure optimal sound quality during events
Provide on-site technical support throughout the duration of conferences and promptly resolve any arising issues.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an A/V Technician or in a similar role.
Proficient knowledge in Audio Visual technology.
Demonstrable experience with Wireless Microphones.
Familiarity with different types of Microphones and their usage.
Experience in handling and operating Projectors.
Strong skills in Audio Mixing, with a focus on both live and recorded audio.
