Position: Lead Appian Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Long Term
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Appian Developer with 9-10 years of strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying BPM applications using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, collaborating with business and technical teams, and ensuring best practices in development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end solutions on the Appian BPM platform.
- Build Appian objects such as records, process models, interfaces, rules, reports, and web APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, REST APIs, etc.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support activities.
Requirements:
- 4 5 years of experience in Appian BPM application development.
- Strong knowledge of Appian architecture, records, process modeling, reports, and SAIL.
- Experience in integrations (SOAP/REST, SQL, third-party APIs).
- Proficiency with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
- Appian certification (Associate/Designer/Lead Developer) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
