Job Details
Position Overview
- Title: Sr. Staff Engineer (Java/Python/AWS)
- Type: Contract (6 months, with high potential for extension based on performance)
- Location: USA_Remote
- Team: FSD Product Team (focused on platform development and cloud migration)
- Project: Maintaining and enhancing a newly cloud-migrated platform
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, cloud-native software using:
- Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, GraphQL, gRPC, JavaScript, Java/J2EE
- Build microservices, RESTful services, asyncAPI, and web apps
- Implement secure architectures using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Basic Auth, APIM
- Apply AWS best practices for architecture and deployment
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive quality improvements
- Integrate distributed systems and APIs, and optimize performance
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s in Computer Science (Master s preferred)
- Experience:
- 7+ years in engineering roles (technical lead, architect, etc.)
- Strong Java/Spring Boot and AWS expertise
- CI/CD tools (Code Commit, Deploy, Pipeline)
- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- API gateways (Apigee, AWS API Gateway)
- Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)
- Familiarity with IAM (e.g., Okta) and cryptography (ECDH, ECDSA, JWE)
