Job Details

Position Overview

  • Title: Sr. Staff Engineer (Java/Python/AWS)
  • Type: Contract (6 months, with high potential for extension based on performance)
  • Location: USA_Remote
  • Team: FSD Product Team (focused on platform development and cloud migration)
  • Project: Maintaining and enhancing a newly cloud-migrated platform

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, cloud-native software using:
    • Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, GraphQL, gRPC, JavaScript, Java/J2EE
  • Build microservices, RESTful services, asyncAPI, and web apps
  • Implement secure architectures using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Basic Auth, APIM
  • Apply AWS best practices for architecture and deployment
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive quality improvements
  • Integrate distributed systems and APIs, and optimize performance

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor s in Computer Science (Master s preferred)
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years in engineering roles (technical lead, architect, etc.)
    • Strong Java/Spring Boot and AWS expertise
    • CI/CD tools (Code Commit, Deploy, Pipeline)
    • Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
    • API gateways (Apigee, AWS API Gateway)
    • Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)
    • Familiarity with IAM (e.g., Okta) and cryptography (ECDH, ECDSA, JWE)
