We are seeking a dedicated Medical Affairs Research Assistant to join their diverse team that makes a difference every day!



Pay: Up to $42/hr.

Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Hybrid at San Diego office (minimum 3 days in office per week)



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in preparing and editing research materials such as reports, presentations, posters, abstracts, and publications.

  • Proofread, format, and validate data to ensure accuracy in research deliverables.

  • Submit manuscripts and abstracts through online portals, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

  • Coordinate meetings and communication among internal and external stakeholders for publication projects.

  • Manage publication approvals and documentation through platforms like Veeva MedComms or DocuSign.

  • Support research documentation, literature reviews, and maintain shared resources like bibliographies and reference libraries.

  • Assist with conference planning and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical research standards.

  • Empowered to suggest improvements to research protocols and ensure the accuracy and integrity of research data and documentation.

  • Actively participates in team meetings, offering insights on research progress and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align efforts with organizational goals.

  • Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages time to meet project deadlines.


Qualifications:


  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, including proactivity, integrity, adaptability, and the ability to influence and work well both independently and in teams.

  • Possesses excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Skilled in writing, proofreading, and ensuring data accuracy with strong attention to detail and time management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiar with clinical research methodologies and committed to ongoing learning and professional development.

  • Holds a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in a science or public health field with 1-2 years of relevant research experience.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
