Job Description

The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (MHAS) is seeking an experienced .NET/C# Developer or Solution Architect to refactor a custom HR software suite hosted on Azure. This role involves close collaboration with HR teams, application development using ASP.NET MVC/Core, and integration with Ohio's ERP (OAKS). Preferred candidates will have prior experience with HR systems and strong Azure DevOps deployment skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refactor and enhance HR-related .NET/C# applications in Azure
  • Collaborate with HR staff and stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Azure Pipelines
  • Work with Azure App Services, Functions, and blob storage
  • Support testing, debugging, and user acceptance phases

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years: ASP.NET MVC/Core, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Entity Framework, JavaScript/jQuery/CSS, Kendo UI
  • 2+ years: .NET Framework, Azure App Services
  • Experience with Azure Functions and blob storage
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Ohio ERP (OAKS)
  • Background in HR software or processes
