Job Details

We are seeking to hire a Senior Java Developer with Active Secret Clearance to join our team working on a multi-year award we have within a Federal Gov't Agency, located in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is 60% onsite (onsite Tues-Thurs each week, remote on Monday and Friday).

 

Being a US Cit only and having an ACTIVE Secret level Security Clearance is required for working on this project.

 

This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).

 

An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.

 

Role:

Responsible for design and development of Java code for a large scale Federal IT Program. Full Stack experience is nice to have, but the majority of this role will focus on the back end.

 

Required skills include:

  • 6+ years of hands on Java development experience
  • Experience with J2EE or other Java frameworks (e.g. Spring)
  • Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
  • 5 years of work experience with Web development technologies (HTML, JSP, etc.)
  • 5 years of work experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting (e.g. ksh, bash, csh, etc.)
  • 6+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications
  • 4+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
  • Active Secret Level Security Clearance
