Payrate: $90.00 - $100.00/hr.

Summary:
The main function of a Systems Engineer in this role is to apply principles in RAMS modeling against electrical and mechanical systems. A typical engineer will apply Reliability Engineering concepts to design and develop mathematical models to demonstrate thorough analysis of Data Center and Hardware systems against Availability/Reliability targets and will provide design and operational improvements where appropriate.

Responsibilities:
  • Build or modify existing Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) models.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to evaluate various infrastructure design scenarios based on data and model output.
  • Utilize various reliability engineering software such as Isograph, Reliasoft (or similar) to model methodologies such as Fault Tree, RBD, Markov chains, Monte Carlo simulations and RCM.

Skills:
  • Solid understanding of mathematical models and techniques used in reliability analysis and modeling.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
  • Write technical reports.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for reliability prediction in mechanical and electrical systems such as found in MIL-STD, Telcordia, IEC.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Experience with Reliability Engineering is required.
  • Experience with RAMS modeling software is required.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo, RBDs, Dynamic Fault Trees, Fault Tree Analysis, and Markov simulation methodologies are required

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $90.00 - $100.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
