Job Title: Enrollment Technician I

<>Job Description - Purpose</>


The Enrollment Technician I is responsible for the accurate and timely enrollment of members into *** s member enrollment systems, in alignment with contractual requirements and service agreements. This role requires close coordination with key stakeholders including client account contacts, subscribers, Sales, Underwriting, Finance, IT, and the Account Installation department across various Client Plans. The position ensures the integrity of enrollment data while supporting operational efficiency and member satisfaction.


Essential Functions

Enrollment Processing - 75%

  • Accurately enroll subscribers and dependents for all lines of business through various channels such as fax, mail, and email.

  • Verify enrollment status, update membership records, resolve enrollment system discrepancies, and process terminations or other enrollment changes.

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of enrollment data and resolve any discrepancies to ensure data integrity.

Interdepartmental Coordination - 25%

  • Collaborate with the Account Installation team to manage the member identification card process, ensuring that cards are only issued after enrollment updates are finalized and audited.

  • Work closely with the Billing Technician to confirm all group enrollments are completed before generating monthly billing statements.


Qualifications

<>Minimum Requirements</>
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience: Less than one year in membership enrollment, member services, billing, claims processing, or data analysis

<>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</>
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling large volumes of enrollment data

  • Ability to quickly learn complex client account structures, system workflows, and enrollment software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Adaptable and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective team player with strong communication and organizational skills

  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle internal and external stakeholders professionally, even under challenging circumstances
