Systems Administrator

Description

This role provides comprehensive support for end-user devices and systems across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android), while also managing server infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop and mobile device issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
• Manage support tickets and respond to user inquiries promptly.
• Provision and maintain wired/wireless devices and cloud-based VoIP systems.
• Maintain VMware server farm and provision virtual machines.
• Terminate and manage network/telephony cabling.
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of IT assets.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support mobile device management using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Perform additional IT-related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, Office 365, VMware ESX.
• Experience with macOS, iOS, Android, and mobile device management.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLAN, IPSec, SIP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, SAP.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and service desk management.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under pressure.

Education & Certifications

• Option 1: Associate's Degree in System Administration, Networking, Cybersecurity and relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Secure Infrastructure Specialist).
• Option 2: Minimum of 7 years of experience in system administration without formal degree or certifications.

• Ability to follow instructions and resolve standardized problems.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Adaptability to frequent changes and high-pressure environments.
