Job Title: Enterprise Architect E-commerce
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Job Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid Onsite is preference/ Remote eligible/ Nearshore is also OK)


Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the architectural strategy and modernization roadmap for omni-channel and e-commerce platforms. You will drive innovation and design scalable, cloud-native, and microservices-based solutions to enhance the digital customer experience. This is a leadership role requiring strong collaboration across technology, business, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead enterprise architecture for scalable, secure e-commerce systems.
Guide cross-functional teams to align business goals with architectural designs.
Champion cloud-first microservices-based, event-driven architectures.
Design distributed applications for seamless omni-channel experiences.
Stay current with technology trends and integrate best practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to mature architecture practices.
Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years in software development with 5+ years in e-commerce architecture.
Deep expertise in microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience in loyalty and promotion systems is a plus.
