RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking for a Deployment Technical project Manager in the Miami area.
Summary:
The Deployment Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of MAST Deployment projects. This involves transitioning the Infoship Software application, primarily used for maintenance, purchasing, and budget control, to the MAST software application (mainly AMOS and AIMS). They ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the required quality standards. This role involves managing project teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance.
Key responsibilities include project planning, coordinating tasks to ensure timely completion for the MAST teams, covering administrative tasks, overseeing tickets related to the project (ADO, ADM), developing risk assessments to prevent issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Effective communication with corporate team members is also essential.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
* 5+ years of proven experience in marine project management
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in project management software and tools. MS Project, MS Excel
* Knowledgeable of ship's machinery and safety equipment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
