Job Details

Job Title: Senior Oracle Applications Analyst-Utilities Focus
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Onsite Preferred, Hybrid Considered)
Interview: Onsite/Virtual

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Description:

  • Design, document, and implement new enterprise application solutions for the Utilities department.

  • Maintain, support, and enhance new and existing Oracle-based applications.

  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve application-related infrastructure issues.

  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and systems architecture.

  • Collaborate with business users, IT staff, and vendors for integration and implementation.

  • Evaluate business requirements and conduct feasibility/impact analyses.

  • Provide system troubleshooting for enterprise and non-enterprise applications.

  • Ensure system security by consulting with stakeholders on short and long-term initiatives.

  • Review and apply IT policies and standards to application development processes.

  • Participate in on-call support rotations and emergency issue resolution.

Required/Desired Skills:

Experience with Oracle-based applications, specifically Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Oracle Analytics Publisher. Required 10 Years
Experience working with and maintaining enterprise level computer applications Required 7 Years
Extensive experience with Oracle and Oracle-based technologies. Required 5 Years
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio. Required 5 Years
Experience with process design, logical workflow analysis and design. Required 5 Years
Experience with in-depth configuration, code, analysis, and output. Required 5 Years
Experience with Utilities in both support and processes Required 5 Years
Extensive experience troubleshooting problems and root cause analysis. Required 5 Years
