The opportunity
Do you want to help build the next evolution of Adobe Express for our business customers?

We're looking for a Staff Growth Experience Designer to craft engaging product moments for our business and enterprise customers. You'll help our customers discover what Express is capable of, how to take their projects to the next level, and how Express integrates into their workflow. You'll investigate what our customers feel when they're collaborating with others and working across products, how they want to measure the success of their content, and what types of premium product value keep them invested and engaged.

Adobe Express makes design and content creation fast, fun, and streamlined for small and medium business owners, entrepreneurs, social media marketers, communicators, and side hustlers, with no design experience needed. The Growth Design team delivers thoughtfully crafted experiments and core experiences that seek to understand user behavior and strengthen their success with content creation. We're passionate about ensuring our customers accomplish their goals while standing out. Learn more about what our team does here!
In this role, you'll:
Approach problems holistically. Collaborate with cross-functional team members like data analysts, researchers, product managers and engineers to define strategy. Design growth experiments, loops, and solutions across trial and premium touchpoints of the funnel.

Listen deeply. Uncover opportunities to decrease friction and enable new pathways by talking to and listening to customers about their frustrations and goals.

Experiment to create design impact. Imagine user experiences from concept to ship, experiment and iterate to validate your ideas, and coordinate with designers to produce high quality solutions with a keen eye for detail. Test your prototypes, capture insights, and integrate your findings into new versions of design experiments.

Simplify. Translate complex problems into sophisticated design recommendations that are grounded in user research and data. Bring the vision to life through sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, wireframes, prototypes, or animations.

Sustain discovery and value. Apply interactive techniques to help our users try paid features and value in meaningful ways, help them find the right plan, and continue to encourage value in their subscription over time.

Think big. Advocate for innovative product approaches, and collaborate with the Monetization and Engagement squads to lead brainstorms and workshops. Stay current with industry leading perspectives and bring them into your design approach.
What you'll bring to the team
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in UX and interaction design, building and delivering digital consumer and enterprise products. Experience with paid subscription models, conversion goals and metrics, and understanding how customer psychology translates to design solutions is a must.
  • Ability to balance an iterative growth mentality with high quality design standards, through both lo-fidelity prototypes and hi-fidelity concepts.
  • A thirst to learn about how your designs perform and appetite to iterate, weaving both qualitative and quantitative data into your recommendations.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or similar tools, and maintaining and scaling a design system. Strong understanding of visual design standards, typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, and iconography and how these elements impact product function.
  • Curiosity, interest, and a point of view about UX and experience design trends, teams and enterprise customer insights, and e-commerce psychology. You're able to advocate and activate this knowledge with your team.
  • Experience with concisely representing design decisions, the problems they solve, and how they support business objectives to the broader product organization and leadership.
How to Apply
To be considered for this role, please submit your resume and portfolio.

In your portfolio, please include projects where you've designed conversion and upgrade experiences, enterprise or B2B customer experiences, premium or advanced user onboarding, paid feature discovery, and end-to-end design processes that integrate commerce or financial decisions from the user.
