Job Details

Position: AWS Solution Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

Note: Strong background as an Architect with proven migration experience

Job Description:

  • Architect and build cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to define infrastructure requirements and implement solutions.
  • Define and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Contribute to cloud strategy and roadmap development aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Ensure infrastructure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with operations and FinOps teams to enable automated provisioning and cloud cost governance.
  • Promote financial accountability by designing infrastructure with cost efficiency, tagging standards, and resource optimization in mind.

Qualifications:

  • Total IT experience of 15+ years
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Expertise in AWS; additional experience with Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Proficient with automation and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred certifications:

  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect.
