Position Overview: Combining technical expertise in software with deep functional utility domain knowledge to design & configure. Supports solution delivery through requirement translation, config/testing support and cross functional collaboration with technical understanding in selected software. The role combines technical expertise in chosen software with deep functional knowledge to design, configure and optimize solutions across key utility operations.
Responsibilities:
? Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams for chosen software module requirements, enhancement and solution design.
? Analyze and interpret business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with chosen software capabilities and utility industry standards.
? Lead workshops to gather and validate business and functional requirements
? Configure, test and support the assigned solution module throughout design, UAT, cutover and go-live
? Map end-to-end processes to system capabilities and recommend optimizations
? Troubleshoot issues, drive root-cause analysis and ensure timely resolution
? Produce process documentation, training materials and support knowledge transfer to functional teams
? Collaborate with architects, engineers, integration teams and business stakeholders to maintain alignment

*As-is/to-be process mapping: lead gap analyses and define optimized "to-be" processes that balance regulatory, operational and customer needs.
* Requirements elicitation: conduct structured interviews and design sessions with stakeholders and produce clear artifacts that translate business rules into system specifications.
* Fit/Gap analysis: evaluate standard SAP IS-U (or other platforms') capabilities against unique organizational policies and document where custom enhancements, workarounds, or configuration changes are needed.
* Technical configuration and development: configure SAP IS-U (or other platforms') components and support interface decision.
* Data management & migration support: collaborate on data mapping, cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy.
* Change management: Support role-based training development, go-live readiness and knowledge transfer efforts.
* Training and enablement of domain experts new to chosen platform: Support training domain experts without knowledge on chosen platform to connect business processes with system capabilities.
* Critical thinking: ability to thrive within continuous ambiguity and reflect solid options analysis
* Regulatory analysis and testimony: partner with OpCos to shape large investment roadmaps and considerations into compelling testimony and support to regulatory teams
* Financial acumen: strong experience generating high-quality multiyear cost models to support program delivery, both from capital investments and operational cost management and solutioning
* Vendor management: ability to strategically structure and address vendor agreements that maximize customer and company yield from terms
* Change adaptation: able to shift from "as built" to seize on opportunities to improve performance of operating practices
* Relationship management: officer-level communication and presentation. Continuous, frequent dialog with department vice presidents to synthesize cohesive and supported strategies. Deep, high-trust relationships with key leaders and influencers in the spectrum of business operations, to ensure transformational capabilities are brought into the business change management activities
Min Qualifications:
? 3-7 years' experience in utility transformation implementation
? Hands-on configuration and testing experience in SAP ISU environment, minimum one experience or two (2-5 years)
? Utility Industry Knowledge: Understanding the utility sector, including electricity, gas, water, and waste management.
? Business Process Expertise: Proficiency in utility-specific business processes like billing, invoicing, customer service, and asset management.
? SAP ISU Modules: Knowledge of modules such as Device Management, Billing & Invoicing, Customer Service, and Work Management.
? Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
? Project Management: Ability to manage and execute projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and timelines.
? Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
