About the Role:

Genesis10 is seeking a DDI Engineer for a 12-month contract opportunity with Bank of America. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite in one of the following locations: Richmond, VA; Charlotte, NC; or Chandler, AZ. We're looking for a motivated and experienced network specialist with deep expertise in DNS/DHCP/IPAM (DDI) solutions, particularly with VitalQIP or BlueCat, and prior Bank of America, Cisco, or HP experience.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Hands-on DDI experience, particularly with DNS, and a strong understanding of DNS from end-to-end
  • Previous experience with Bank of America (preferred), or large enterprises like Cisco or HP
  • Familiarity with BlueCat or VitalQIP tools (strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and IPS
  • Experience with network operations and service delivery
  • Proficiency with tools such as Remedy, PuTTY, PowerShell, BlueCat, or QIP
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

Preferred:

  • CCNA certification (nice to have, not required)
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
  • Ability to manage escalations, complex service requests, and change management processes

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill and manage DDI-related requests, including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management
  • Perform design, peer reviews, scheduling, implementations, and closure for all DDI requests
  • Submit and manage change requests (CRQs) through the full change lifecycle
  • Conduct pre-validation, implementation, and post-implementation checks
  • Handle resource records, device registrations, and site code requests
  • Act as an escalation point for unresolved or complex network issues
  • Collaborate closely with global business partners and support teams

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid model 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
  • Fast-paced and collaborative enterprise IT environment
