Job Summary:

We are seeking a Healthcare IT Delivery Leader with over 15 years of experience to lead enterprise-scale IT programs across the healthcare provider and payor landscape. This strategic leadership role will drive digital transformation, oversee complex COTS implementations (EHR, patient engagement, analytics), and ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and HITECH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT programs across healthcare organizations, ensuring clinical, operational, and regulatory alignment.

  • Drive digital transformation efforts in EHR/EMR modernization, patient portals, AI/automation, and data analytics.

  • Oversee implementation of COTS platforms like Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Salesforce Health Cloud.

  • Deliver RPA and automation solutions using tools like UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere.

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare compliance/security frameworks.

  • Champion interoperability and data exchange standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, APIs).

  • Collaborate with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders to enable better care delivery through scalable solutions.

  • Lead multi-vendor teams and delivery partners across complex program portfolios.

  • Manage roadmaps, budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations with a focus on outcomes.

  • Own P&L accountability and drive cost-efficient delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of IT experience, with 10+ years in the US healthcare industry (providers and/or payors).

  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare data, and health IT systems.

  • Proven experience delivering COTS healthcare platforms (EHRs, RCM, care management, engagement tools).

  • Strong command of healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH).

  • Experience with modern IT delivery approaches: cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, Agile/DevOps.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with value-based care, population health, and telehealth platforms.

  • Understanding of federal mandates like CMS interoperability, MIPS/MACRA, ONC standards.

  • Certifications such as PMP, CPHIMS, HITRUST are highly desirable.
